Here is the new camera the company I work for just got. This is a great camera! We finally went to tape less, us old school guys were a little hesitant at first but here we are. This camera has a ton of features, right out of the box were are getting amazing footage. Sony has some custom scene files that are found here: http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/micro-xdcam/resource.downloadsXDCAM was a good fit for our archival purposes. A lot of this stuff can be put on a shelf for safe keeping's. The sony optical disk is easy to handle and label. One of the advantages we like about the camera is the ability to under and over crank frame rates. We usually had to rent a Varicam or do it in post which is not always ideal.
